We got Nate's 6 month pictures taken this week. I didn't buy the CD, so here are some pictures of the pictures.

Mountain Day 2010

Last weekend we went up to Berry for Mountain Day for the first time since Anna was about Nate's age. It was a beautiful day and great to be back. We had a good time having a picnic with the Gormans and Swaffords. Here is Anna "helping" Catherine with her bottle. (someone's little fingerprints are all over my camera lens)

Poor Anna, this is the face that she makes when I tell her to smile. Not good! If anyone knows any tricks to get kids to give a natural smile on command, fill me in please!

Nate is 6 Months Old!!

Our little man turned 6 months old last week! Here are things that I want to remember about Nate at 6 months old:

*At his 6 month check-up weighed 19 lbs. 8 oz. (83%) and was 28 inches long (93%)

*He started rolling over last month and doesn't spend any time on his back at all now. As soon as you lay him on his back he flips right to his tummy. This is making diaper changes pretty challenging!

*He's sitting up really well and loves playing with his toys.

*He's a grabby little guy. When he gets it in his head that he wants something he goes for it. Anna's shirt is one of his favorite things to grab.

*He loves the excersaucer and makes it rock and roll like Anna never did!

*Despite his size, he's really not a big eater. He takes 4 6 oz. bottles and is still getting the hang of baby food. When he's taking a bottle he's very easily distracted and loves to look up at me and smile, coo, and grab my face, while the formula runs out of his mouth

*His lastest trick is blowing raspberries and he thinks it's hilarious to do it while he's got a mouth full of food.

*He is taking a good morning and afternoon nap and an evening catnap everyday and sleeps 7:30-7:30 at night.

*Loves his feet and takes of his right sock and chews on it every time we're in the car.

*He splashes like crazy in the bathtub

*He's still a sweet, happy guy and is growing up much too fast for me!!
