This is a picture of Mommy and Daddy 1 year ago today. There was something different about Mommy (and you better not say her hair!!). That's right, that was me in her belly! Not for long though, because the next day I was born! Tomorrow I turn 1 year old!!!

Playing with Davis

I was so excited on Saturday night because I got to hang out with my best buddy, Davis!

Davis and I are checking each other out. He'd changed a lot from the last time I saw him on New Year's Eve!

I thought Davis' shirt was really funny. It says "Lock Up Your Daughters." He is a cutie!!! (In reality, I was about to poke Davis in the face. Sorry Davis!)

Our mommies tried to get some good pictures of Davis and I in our pj's. We weren't being extremely cooperative, but they got some funny pictures! And yes, I was being a little bossy by taking poor Davis' lovey away from him. He was a sport about it, probably because he knows that it won't be long before he can take it back from me!!

Mommy thinks that I was trying to lay my head down on Davis, the way that I do to Sophie.

A Tight Squeeze!

Usually a basket of my books go inside of this end table. Recently though, I've realized how much fun it is to crawl inside of it myself. Yep, that's me in there (I know, I kind of blend in since both the table and my outift are black).

Peek-A-Boo!

I decided to come out a different way than I got in. Maybe it wasn't the best way!

Whew, I made it!

And this is how I felt about that whole experience!

Snow!

As you all know, we got snow 2 days last week! On the first day I enjoyed looking at the snow from inside the house, but on Saturday we decided to bundle up and brave the cold for just a few minutes!

Here I am all bundled up and ready to go outside.

Daddy and I outside. I was having a little problem with my hat. It's a little big for me so if I'm not careful it covers up my eyes!

I just wanted to show you all of the cool puff balls on my hat!

This was fun, but it sure felt good to go back inside the warm house!

Curly Girl

It looks like I may take after my cousin Gabe and have curly hair. It's a little hard to tell in these pictures, but especially right after a bath my hair is pretty curly. After I've slept on it though it is back to being pretty straight, with the exception of one little curl over my right ear!

I'm concentrating!

Mommy just thought that this was a funny picture because it looks like I'm concentrating really hard while I'm looking at my book. It does take a lot of concentration for a little tyke like me to read something as serious as Five Silly Monkeys!

Walking, with some help!

This week I started walking with my walker toy. I can push it all around the house. In the top picture I make it all the way from the living room into the study. Sometimes I like to take a little break and go around to the front of my walker and play with all of the fun things on it. Mommy got some really good video of me walking all around. One of her goals this weekend is to figure out how to post it on the blog. So, hopefully you'll be seeing it soon!

Pretty Beads!

A made a new discovery the other day, the beads on the lamp shade! I used Mack's bed to help me reach them. Standing on the bed I was just tall enough to get to them. I love the way those beads feel. Right after Mommy took this picture though she moved Mack's bed, and now I can't reach the beads anymore. I guess I just have to wait until I'm tall enough to reach them on my own. Looks like it will be a while!

The Learning House that Santa brought me has been a big hit. It does so many things, I could never get tired of it, and I seem to discover new things every day. As you can tell by these pictures, Daddy is pretty entertained by my house too!

Rockin'

I don't think that I've showed you this colorful contraption yet. It's a car that can rock or roll. It has wheels, but also has rockers that you can put on over the wheels. I like to rock because I'm not quite big enough to make it roll yet. My favorite thing about my car though is the music that it makes. It has lots of little buttons that I can press, and you never quite know what you're going to get! When Mommy is feeling really creative she even makes up words to the music for me, don't tell her I told you that though!

Caught with my hand in the mayonaise jar!

I know that these pictures need some explaining. This afternoon Mommy and Daddy were putting away groceries and left the refrigerator door open for just a minute. In that minute I crawled over and managed to pull the mayonaise out of the door, open it up, and stick my hand in. I'm telling you, I am fast and sneaky! When Daddy saw what I was up to I had already had a little taste, the evidence was on my face. Of course, Mommy and Daddy thought it was so funny that they had to get out the camera before they took the mayonaise away from me.

Nap Time

The other day while I was napping Mommy peeked into my room and saw my little feet sticking out the side of my crib. She couldn't resist snapping a few pictures of me (and my feet) snoozing peacefully!

My First Christmas

This was our Christmas tree and all of the presents before I came downstairs on Christmas morning. Who do you think that cute little house could be for?
My stocking was stuffed full of lots of fun things!

This is how Daddy and Uncle Rob spent most of the day, playing the new Wii game that Aunt Katie gave us.
I'm playing with my computer game from Papa and Nana. I love it because I have my very own keyboard to tap on!

I got my first purse for Christmas. Maybe someday I'll figure out how to open it!
I really liked playing with Uncle Rob's new football. Mack is beside me chewing on his Christmas present!
