My First Haircut

Today Mommy took me to get my first haircut. We went to a neat place called Pigtails and Crewcuts that specializes in little ones like me. Enjoy the pictures!
While I was waiting for my cut I played with the neat train, and also watched a little boy who was getting his hair cut.

I got to choose which fun barber's chair sat in. I went straight to the police car.

About to get started.

I'm craning my neck trying to watch the tv on the wall.

I didn't like it very much when Mommy stepped back to take a picture.

And I really didn't like it when I thought I was about to get out of the chair and Mommy decided that she needed one more picture!

Feeling much better back in my carseat with some animal crackers!

This is the little card that they gave us with my picture and a few of my little curls in honor of my first haircut!

Thanks Daddy!

The other night I was feeling really bad (I am cutting a lot of teeth), but Daddy knew just what to do to cheer me up. He just ran around with me for a little while and before long I'd forgotten all about those teeth!
Sidenote: These are the pictures that helped Mommy realize that it was time for me to get a haircut, especially that last one :)

Enjoying the Weather

Since the weather is finally nice again, my new favorite thing to do is play in the backyard. There isn't too much for me to do back there right now, but it doesn't matter to me. I just have fun running around. When Mommy says, "Let's go outside and play." my eyes light up and I go stand by the door.

I really enjoyed sitting in my new chair that Suzy brought me last weekend. I enjoyed it so much that eventually Mommy had to put it up on the table, because otherwise I would have just sat in my chair the whole time we were outside!

Mack likes playing outside too!

So many new things out here!

Getting Taller

Back in January I did a post all about how I liked to stand on Mack's bed and touch the pretty beads on the lampshade. In the post I told you how Mommy moved Mack's bed so I would have to wait until I could reach the beads by myself to touch them. Well folks, the time has come. The other night I discovered that I am finally all enough to reach them on my own!

Using a Spoon

Hi! I just wanted to show you how I am learning to use a spoon. Here I am at breakfast the other day eating my yogurt with a spoon. As you can tell by all of the yogurt on my face I'm still getting the hang of it, but I'm doing pretty well.

Future Rock Star?

There were all kinds of fun things to play with at Avery's house. My favorite was the guitar from her daddy's Guitar Hero ( a game for Nintendo Wii, in case you were wondering). Don't worry RJ, I was very careful with it!

Meeting Avery

I'm so excited, I have another new friend. Avery Thaxton was born on March 29! Last week Mommy, Sarah, and I went to visit Avery and her mommy, Rosie.

Avery with her mommy.

Our first picture together. I was being a little squirmy!

I'm checking out Avery. Notice how Mommy is holding my hands pretty tight. I really wanted to touch Avery's face. She's so cute, how could I resist!

Who Needs Toys?

One of my newest favorite things to do is to climb into things like the laundry basket, or this little container that usually holds some of my toys. I quickly found out that it's not really big enough for me, but did I let that stop me? No!!
After all of the fun that I had in there yesterday I decided to try a new way to sit in it this morning. I wasn't so sure about it at first.

It didn't take me long to get comfortable though. So, here I am, just sitting in my backet watching the Today Show!

I thought it would be really funny to kick Mack...

Mack thought it would be really funny to lick me. I guess I had it coming that time!

It's Official!

I think I can now officially be called "a walker" now. I can walk all the way from the kitchen over to my toys in the living room.

Look, no hands!

I am exploring other uses for the toy that I formerly used as a walker. In this picture, my baby and I are using it as a bench to take a little rest on.

This is what it's really supposed to be used for, a little ride on toy. I love it, although I seem to go backwards more than forwards. Oh well, that's fun too!
