A New Favorite Food?

Today Mommy decided to try out a recipe for edible play dough that she saw on one of her favorite shows, Jon and Kate Plus Eight. You make it with peanut butter, honey, and dry milk. I really liked the edible part, but didn't do much playing! Don't wory, much to my dismay, Mommy cut me off before I had eaten too much of the play dough. I think it will be a little while before we try this again!

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day we went to a cookout at the Gorman's house. We all had a great time! The highlight of my afternoon was playing in the kiddie pool with Davis. We had so much fun!

Davis loves his toy crab!

Davis tried on Daddy's hat. I think it was a little big!

I know this is just the first of many times that Davis and I will be hanging out in the kiddie pool. I can't wait to do it again!

We're moving!

Great news! In about a month we are going to be moving! Here are Daddy, Mommy, and I in front of our new house!
I had a great time exploring the house on Saturday. The first thing that I did was open the cabinet doors and have a seat! My favorite place was the shower in Mommy and Daddy's bathroom, but we didn't get a picture of me hanging out in there. I had a great time playing in there and looking at Mommy and Daddy through the glass. Let's just say that when I had to get out so we could leave it was not a pretty sight! I guess it won't be too long before I can spend as much time as I want to in the shower. I can't wait!

My Dolls and My New Do

I love playing with my dolls! I love them so much that I have some upstairs and some downstairs. Here I am playing with my downstairs dolls. I was holding two of them and then saw the third laying on the floor. Well, I didn't want her to feel left out so I tried to pick her up too. I had a little problem though. Everytime I would try to pick her up, I would drop the doll that I was holding in the hand I tried to get her with, then I would try to pick up the doll that I dropped and would drop another one. It was a vicious cycle! Eventually Mommy stepped in and helped by putting one of them in my lap. Alos, check out my new hairdo. We call that "The Pebbles!"

Playdate with Kamryn and Kloey

Last week my good friends Kamryn and Kloey came over to play. We had a great time, and amazingly, Mommy and Kristy managed to get a picture of all three of us sitting still and smiling!

Cute Mack

I know that this blog is supposed to be about me, not Mack, but I thought that this picture of my buddy was so cute I just had to share it. And no, technically, he is not supposed to be laying on the couch in the middle of all of the pillows. Scroll down and you'll see why we excused it just this once!
Mack has his own special spot on the couch, but he souldn't lay there because Daddy was sitting in his spot. Silly Daddy!

Mommy's Favorite Dress

I've had this dress in my closet for a little while. Mommy bought it back when it was too cold for me to wear it because it has little ducks on it, and duck (du) was one of my first words. After putting it on me for the first time today she decided that it was her favorite dress ever on me and that she had to get some pictures of me wearing it. I didn't want to sit still for a picture (I never do), so here are some shots of me on the move in Mommy's favorite dress!

"Hey, what is Mack doing with my bucket??"

"I'll take that!"

Happy Mother's Day!

Today at Sunday school I made some special Mother's Day art for Mommy. She seemed very pleased by it! I hope that all of you mommies out there have a great Mother's Day!!

We love Lauren!!

My newest friend, Lauren Stephens was born last Saturday, May 3rd. Lauren is so cute, and so tiny. Mommy says that I was that tiny once too, but it's hard for both of us to believe! For now Lauren is a little too small to play with me, but I know that we are going to have lots of fun together. We love you and are so glad that you're here Lauren!

I was too interested in Lauren's bear to look at the camera!

I finally looked at the camera!

Laren looks comfy chilling with her daddy!

Fun in the Sun

Today I tried out my froggy pool for the first time. It was the perfect thing for a hot afternoon!

This was the look on my face when I saw the pool. I was excited, but didn't want to get too close. Mommy eventually had to pick me up and put me in the pool. I mean, I had never seen anything like it before. You can understand why I was a little hesitant, can't you?

Here are Mack and I "testing the waters." He wasn't sure what to think either.

Eventually I discovered that it was really fun to splash around in my pool!

Now I'm having fun!

Whatever Mack and I see in there must be pretty interesting!

Playing with Gabe

I got a special treat yesterday. My cousin Gabe came over to play with me! We had a great time!

We had lots of fun outside. This was as close as Mommy could get to a picture of us together.

Gabe likes to sit in my toy bucket too!

Mommy and Aunt Mistie tried to sit us together on the couch for a picture. You can see how well that went. Gabe was being pretty cooperative, but I would not sit still!

We played with Hokey Pokey Elmo.

And right before nap time we wound down by reading books together. Thanks for coming to play Gabe!

My Tongue

I have a tendency to stick my tongue out alot. Sometimes it's because I'm really concentrating, sometimes it's just because! I come by this honestly (or, I should say genetically), both my Mommy and Grandaddy do the same thing (although Mommy would like to point out that Grandaddy does it a lot more than she does :). When Mommy was putting pictures from the last few weeks on the computer, she noticed quite a few pictures with my tongue out. It just cracked her up, so she thought we should share them with you!

15 Month Check Up

Hi! This picture doesn't have anything to do with the post, but Daddy took it the other day while Mommy was getting ready and thought it was really funny. So, we put this picture on for you Daddy! I turned 15 months old today! Unfortunately, this meant that I had to go to the doctor for a check up. Other than three painful shots, the appointment went well. I am 33 1/4 inches tall, still off the charts! I weighed 27 lbs. 2 oz. which puts me in the 95th percentile. This is the first time in a long time that I haven't been off the charts for both weight and height. I guess walking is paying off for me!
