Nate at the Beach

Little guy's first time on the beach.













The first time we went out during the day Nate wasn't a big fan, but felt much better when Gran Ran snuggled with him.

This was a much cooler day so we could swaddle him. He loves his Miracle Blanket. If you're having a baby you have to get one!

Beach Time!

After the wedding we headed to Nags Head, NC with Gran Ran, Aunt Katie, and Uncle Rob for a fun and relaxing week. Unlike last year, Anna wasn't a fan of being in the water, but loved playing in the "giant sandbox."
















Rob buried Keith and she wanted to be buried too.

Flower Girl Anna

2 weekends ago we travelled to the Eastern Shore of Virginia for my cousin Jake's wedding. Anna was the flower girl. After 14 hours in the car in 2 days and 2 days in a row of missed naps she was a little wired, to say the least. It was a beautiful weddin though and we had a great time! Here she is chasing the ring bearer, Wyatt. She was very excited about him and he wasn't quite sure what to make of her. Can't say that I blame him, she was definitely a crazy girl!

11 weeks and Happy Father's Day

Just for comparison's sake, here's Nate at 3 weeks old (wearing a newborn outfit).













And here he is at 11 weeks (wearing a 6 month onesie). This boy is growing too fast!














He smiles, giggles, and coos all the time. I just stink at getting the smiles on camera. He's such a sweet and easy baby!






























I think he might give Anna a run for her money in the size department!

The Last Few Weeks...

Gran Ran came for a visit!

He's also gotten chunky! At his 2 month check up he weighed 12 lbs. 9 oz!

7 Weeks Old :)

Bubbles!

Fortunately, Nate has been doing a great job napping in his crib, so Anna and I have still gotten a good bit of one-on-one time. We spend a lot of time in the backyard and these are just a few pictures of her blowing bubbles when we were outside today. It sounds like a small thing, but it's kind of crazy to me that now she can blow bubbles all by herself. She's definitely growing up!















Mack loves to try to eat all of the bubbles mid-air. Her shoes were on the wrong feet the whole time we were outside and I didn't even notice. Oops!
