Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve Mommy, Daddy, Aunt Katie, Uncle Rob, and I celebrated with Grandaddy and Suzanne at their house. I had so much fun and once again, loved all of my presents. Here are some pictures of our visit!

I loved my new toys. Here I am playing with my cool turtle. He came with some really fun blocks that stick on his back, and when you push on him he lights up and plays music. What could be more entertaining?!?

Christmas At Papa and Nana's

The Saturday before Christmas we went to Gainesville to celebrate Christmas with the Brookshire side of the family. We had great food and fun and I loved all of my new presents!

Seeing Santa

These are the pictures from my first visit to see Santa. As you can see, I wasn't so sure what to think and I definitely wasn't going to crack a smile. He seemed like a nice enough guy, I guess I just wasn't really in the mood. Mommy assures me that soon enough I'll understand what Santa is all about and will be more than happy to smile when I sit on his lap!

Mack's New Bed

I know that you're probably wondering whether or not I'm a little confused and think that I'm a dog like Mack (especially in the pictures where I'm holding the bone). But don't worry, I'm not confused. I just love Mack's new bed! Every time Mommy turns her back the past few days, I head straight there. I even took my book and climbed up on it the other morning. What a great place to read! I'm lucky that Mack is so nice about sharing with me. I personally think that he enjoys the company!

My New Trick

Last week I learned my most fun trick yet! I started pulling up all by myself. I only did it a few times those first few days, but now I just can't stop myself! You all know what comes next, then life will really get exciting!

Goodbye, old friend!

I'm sad to say that today I used my excersaucer for the last time. I've surpassed the maximum height, so it is time to fold it up for good! I haven't been using it much since I started crawling. I always enjoy it when I do though! I've got a lot of good memories that involve my excersaucer, so we decided to document my last spin in it. Also, below you can see the first time that I used it. I was 4 months old. What a difference 6 months makes!!

Bundled Up!

Obviously, these pictures are a few weeks old from when it was really chilly out. I just wanted to show you what my mom puts me through when it is cold out. I wasn't so sure that all of this was neccessary and I felt a little silly, but Mommy assured me that it was. I have to admit, I stayed nice and toasty on our stroll! I for one though, am thankful that the weather has warmed up again so that I don't have to endure this on a daily basis!

My First Christmas Tree

A few weeks ago we put up my first Christmas tree. I've left it alone for the most part, but there are a few ornaments that I just can't resist pulling on if they're within my reach. My favorites are these that I'm playing with in the pictures. They're these little snowmen with a jingle bell body. The best thing about them is that when you shake them they make the prettiest noise. I like to take them off the tree, shake them, and them try to crawl around while I'm holding them.

Another Milestone

Last weekend I tried pizza for the first time! I have to say, I think that it is my favorite food yet! Here are a few pictures of my first pizza eating experience.

These are just a few pictures that we took outside at Gran Ran's house. I'm modeling the new jacket that Gran gave me. It keeps me nice and warm!

Thanksgiving in Virginia

It's a few weeks late, but here are some pictures of my Thankgiving in Virginia. Mack and I both did really well on the long drive and had a great time playing at Gran's house!

Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa's

Before we headed up to Virginia for Thanksgiving we had Thanksgiving at Nana and Papa's house. I tried turkey, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce. I loved it all!I got to play with my great grandparents, Pappy and Nana. I really wanted Pappy's hat!

Nana and Papa have lots of fun toys for Gabe and I to play with. We had a blast!

I love my new monkey from Nana and Papa! He sleeps with me every night now.

I was really trying to pull up to see what was in the toy bucket. Maybe next time we visit I can make it all the way!
