Friday morning Mommy, Mack and I were just taking our normal walk around the neighborhood when we spotted this turtle just walking down the street. He was in an area where new houses are being built, and we were afraid that he was going to get run over by one of the big trucks. So, we put him in the bottom of my stroller and took him home so that we could take him somewhere safe and release him. Not before we had a little fun with him though!
When we got home we put him in the back yard. He was understandably a little nervous and stayed in his shell for a while.

He finally came out. We decided to name him Phelps, in honor of you-know-who. Yeah, we're silly like that, but we think that turtles are lucky and thought that a little extra luck couldn't hurt Micheal Phelps. Looks like it worked!
