Phelps and I

This was my reaction when Phelps first came out of his shell. I was scared. I mean I'd never seen anything like that before, can you blame me?

Keeping my distance in the backyard.

" Hello, anybody in there?"

Curious, but not getting too close.

And this is what I did when we came inside and left Phelps outside hanging out in a cooler with some food and water. Even though I wasn't so sure about him at first and never got too close, I grew to really like the little guy!
