Look Who's Crawling Now!!

That's right! I can crawl and I'm getting better at it everyday! As soon as Mommy and Daddy figure out how to post videos you will get to see me in action.

My New Hangout

Since I've started being able to scoot around (still not crawling, should be any day now...) my favorite thing to do is play with our coffee table. Try as Mommy and Daddy might to keep me away from it, I always find my way there. Today I managed to get completely under the coffee table. This was quite an experience. As you can see it has a glass top. Well, it took me a while to figure out why I couldn't actually touch the remotes when I could see them so clearly. Even though that was a little frustrating for me I really enjoyed my new view of the living room from under the coffee table. Oh, by the way, I now have TWO teeth!! Mommy hasn't been able to get a good picture of them yet, but as soon as she does she'll be sure to post it.

Fall Fashion Preview

I am so excited about my first fall! I hear that it is the best time of year. On Sunday morning there was a little nip in the air, so I got to give some of my fall clothes a little test drive. Mommy said that Rosie gave me this outfit before I was even born. It fits me perfectly now. Maybe a little too perfectly, because when it was time for the shirt to come off Mommy and I had quite a little struggle. It wasn't looking so good for the shirt (or for me) for a few minutes, but finally it came off! Oh well, despite the struggle, I love my outfit and can't wait to wear it again!

A Playdate

A few weeks ago (I know, Mommy is behind again!) we had a playdate with Mommy's friend Kristy and her three girls Kenna, Kamryn, and Kloey. Kenna is almost 3 years old (wow!) and Kamryn and Kloey (twins) are 18 months old. I had such a great time playing with their toys and watching them play. You should see how fast they can get around! Mommy and Ms. Kristy tried to get a good picture of all 4 of us, but it just didn't happen. Maybe next time! Thanks for letting me come play girls. I can't wait to do it again!!

During the day pretty much wherever I go Mack goes too, unless it's upstairs of course because he's not allowed up there, due to his enthusiasm for Sophie the cat. Mommy and I like to think that he's being protective, but we have a feeling that he's just waiting for me to spit up. I know, gross! Too bad for Mack, I don't do that very much anymore. I do enjoy having him around though!

A New Discovery

I can move around pretty well all by myself now. I'm not crawling just yet, but I have my methods. Yesterday while Mommy was adding some pictures to my blog she put me on the floor in the study with some of my toys. I found Mack's cage much more interesting though and before Mommy knew what happened, I rolled over to it. When I got there it was even better than I imagined it would be. There was a whole bowl of water in there! Perfect for little fingers to splash around in, and that I did!!

Game Day

My daddy was very excited all week, and on Saturday I found out why. Football season has officially begun! On Saturday we went over to the Stephens' house and watched the bulldogs win! I even got a new special onesie for the occasion. A girl has to show her team spirit after all!!

Mommy and I before the game.
Even Lucy had a special shirt for the game!
I loved sitting with Uncle Scott. This was after he had given me a very satisfying bottle. I think that he was a little nervous about it, but he did a great job!
Hanging out with the boys.
Girl time!

Meet Davis

I have some VERY exciting news. My buddy, Davis Gorman, was finally born on August 25th!! I got to meet Davis on Friday night. I may just be a baby, but I can already tell that he is one cute little guy and we are going to be great friends! Welcome to the world Davis!!!

Tub Time!

Here I am waiting for the tub to fill up. Mommy tried really hard to get me to look at the camera, but I was too busy smiling at myself in the mirror!
Now that I'm a big girl and can sit up, I use this handy tub seat when I take a bath.
Where did all of the water go? And why are my toys trying to go with it?!?
All clean!!

Poor Magazine!

These days I like to try to get my hands on anything and everything, especially books and magazines. Mommy decided to give me her magazine, just to see what I would do and well, let's just say that it looks like I won't be getting my hands on any more magazines in the near future!

Fun Times With Daddy

Every evening after dinner Daddy and I enjoy a little playtime. We just laugh and play. Most of you know, my daddy can be really silly! It is definitely one of the highlights of my day!

My New Dress (and head thingy)

Mommy and I took a little shopping trip to get some new clothes for me because well, if you've seen me recently, you know why. I got 3 new outfits, my favorite of which is this dress. It came with a head scarf or do-rag, or whatever you want to call it. Mommy and I aren't real sure, so we call it the "head thingy." We thought that it was so funny that a dress for a baby came with one, so we had to try it on as soon as we got home. Although I think it's very cute, I probably will not be wearing it again. It made my head very hot, and that's the last thing a girl needs in this weather!

Party Time!

My cousin Gabe just turned 1 year old. Wow! His birthday party was Saturday and it was a blast! Papa and Nana got him this wagon and he was nice enough to let me go for a ride with him (and to let me hold one of his birthday balloons!). We had so much fun. Mommy didn't get a picture of this, but at one point Gabe was bending down playing with my toes while I played with his hair. That was my favorite part! Happy birthday Gabe!!

Go Mack!

While we were in Virginia I got this new, really cool toy. I love playing with it and it turns out that Mack does too. At first he wasn't sure what it was and he just looked at it and barked, but now he plays what we think is a doggy version of soccer with it. He pushes it with his nose and when it starts to get away from him he runs and uses his paws to stop it. Like everything else Mack does, it's pretty entertaining for me!

Look at me now!!

I can finally sit up all by myself! I am really enjoying my new view of the world :)!
